The Outreach team at The Family Information Service’s role is to engage with families in the community across the city of Hull and raise awareness of their service, where families are, they need to be!  They offer face to face information and advice on all services in the city for parents and carers with children aged 0-20 years.

Baby Hooded Towels
Following the success of the hooded towels at The East Riding of Yorkshire Council (also supplied by The Promotion Company), Family Information Service ordered hooded towels with the logo of their service embroidered on the hood of the towel as can be seen in the photograph below.

Results achieved/Client’s comments
Ms S and Ms H from the Outreach team said, ‘Compared to the previous year, prior to the distribution of the towels, The Family Information Service have recorded a 1000% increase in the enquiries for our service in just a five month period, we are delighted.  When trying to engage with families and especially children and young people these resources are important to help us to be successful in our roles’
